Firearm Condition Definitions

** Please note we have a 30 day warranty on firearms in condition Mint to Good.  Firearms in new condition are covered by their manufacturer's warranty only.  There is no warranty on firearms in Fair or Poor condition.

New:

    Not previously sold at retail, in same condition as current factory production.

Mint:

    In new condition in every respect. Previously, has been sold at a retail level.

Excellent:

    New condition, used very little, no noticeable marring of wood or metal, bluing near perfect ( except at muzzle or sharp edges.

Very Good:

    In perfect working order, no appreciable wear on working surfaces, no corrosion or pitting, only minor surface dents or scratches.

Good:

    In safe working condition, minor wear on working surfaces, no broken parts, no corrosion or pitting that will interfere with proper functioning.

Fair:

    Well worn, perhaps requiring replacement of minor parts or adjustments which should be indicated in advertisement, may have corrosion pits, which do not render firearm inoperable.

Poor:

    Major and minor parts replaced; major replacement parts required and extensive restoration needed, wood badly scratched, bruised, cracked or broken.
